Leupold Hawthorne 10x42mm Roof Binocular, Black Review

Starting out with the positive these are excellent binoculars. Clear, easy to focus, the locking adjustment for setting your individual eye strength is great. I have had them out in low light and bright sunny days and found them clear and distortion free. They work well with glasses, if you leave the eye cups turned in (I did it the other way initially and was disappointed, user error). I have three issues with them 1) They are designed in the US, but made in Japan, 2) My set is missing the serial number which could be an issue if they are ever lost or stolen, and 3) I would make one product change and have the included neck strap (nice strap) use the same quick disconnect connectors as binocular harness they sell so you could just swap them out without have two types of disconnects attached to the binoculars all the time (extra dangly things). I would buy them again and would suggest getting the binocular harness from Leupold.

Got me two of these things. Along with the 50w lightbulbs. Use with fjWestcott Spiderlight TD5s'. I like these setups as they allow me to shoot at 5000 deg. and then make final adjustments inside software. Plus they are continious, so there are less camera adjustments and more consistancy. Probably will buy me some of them yellow lightbulbs in the near future.

AN-130 Speaker Monitor with Wireless Receiver Color: White Review

I have four of these now. Our criteria have been "portability" and "loudness". This speaker fits the bill and performs up to our expectations (so far -- fingers crossed).

One of the things I wish they have is the connectors. Since we're using it from iPod or PC, it will be nice to have a simple typical computer speaker connector (smaller one with both channels). Other than that, we're happy.
