Product Description

The Adam Equipment CPWplus 75W wheeled floor scale has a capacity of 75kg and an accuracy of 20g (also called readability), and a large metal handle frame with two rear wheels, which allows for portability. For increased visibility when measuring bulky items, the indicator attaches to the handle frame using the integrated bracket, which tilts to adjust the viewing angle. The indicator has a large backlit digital display for clear readings in either bright or dim lighting. The steel platform is durable and stable, and the stainless steel weighing pan resists corrosion and is easy to clean. The scale can be operated using AC power or the built-in rechargeable battery, offering full mobility in the field and when a power supply is hard to find, for up to 60 hours. The auto off function can be enabled to power off the scale automatically after periods of inactivity to conserve power.

The scale tares over the full range and weighs in four different units. It has an automatic external calibration system as well as a programmable hold function for dynamic weighing of unstable samples, such as animals, or in unstable environments. The built-in RS-232 port connects to a computer or printer for recording data, and printing can be synchronized with the scale s hold function to print automatically when the measurement is stable. When used according to manufacturer� s recommendations, this product is covered by a one-year warranty.

Igo Desk for Imac G5 Sitting Model By Rain Design Review

My husband bought me Rain Design Inc's iGo and iLap for the holidays. Both are huge disappointments. The iGo is flimsy, unstable, and - unlike Rain Design claims - not ergonomic at all. Too many plastic parts, nothing fit in smoothly, the keyboard tray slides out too easily. The plastic stand for the MacMini was a ghastly yellow color instead of clear. The legs were scratched and so was the base of the stand. It feels like a child's toy. The iMac monitor sits too close to the user - this is far from ergonomic. The keyboard tray is too low, even at its highest position. I would love to return it. I most likely will, even though Rain Design's return policy is just as horrendous as their product - 15% restocking fee and I have to pay for the return shipping. Needless to say, I shall not be purchasing anything made by Rain Design Inc again.

Giottos MTL8371B Professional 3-Section Carbon Tripod with Flip Leg Locks Review

My first Giottos tripod. My first carbon fiber tripod. The most money I have ever spent on a piece of photography equipment. AND - I would do it all over again after using this tripod. It is exactly what I had been looking for, and makes me question my sanity for using such inferior tripods in the past. Never again! I am 6'3" tall, and this tripod puts the camera above my head when extended to its maximum length (with the ball head socket in place) - so I will not lack adjustment range. The legs are large in diameter - but due to the carbon fiber construction the tripod is no heavier than my SLIK 400DX (without the ball head). The flip locks on the legs are easy to open and close, and hold fast. They are also adjustable if you feel you need more (or less) tension. The price is high, but you can find tripods costing much more. This tripod is rugged and well constructed. All moving parts move smoothly. You can tell that Giottos builds only high quality items. They are now my favorite accessories/equipment manufacturer. I would highly recommend this tripod to any and all. It will be used for nature photography. I would not recommend it if you are looking for a small, portable, backpackable tripod. But, Giottos makes those as well - so check out their products.
