Here is why I think Fanny Wang beats the competition:

1) First point and a striking one is sound quality. How does it sound? Sound is thumping. The headphones work with or without the batteries in the normal off setting. Add 2 triple AAA batteries and turn on the AMP and the Bass Boost and truly feel the pulsing bass of your music and also the crisp, rich, concert hall like sound of the vocals and high notes. Sound quality comparisons to the comparable Beats are that Fanny Wang has definitely better sound quality and a little secret, (its the same sound engineer).

2) Duo-jack, tang-less cord. The cord which never seems to tangle is fantastic. I love the material that's used and the duo jack is awesome as my buddies and my brother love to share in on the tunes and beats that I make and listen to. Let's not forget the convenience and the great functionality of the Apple remote. The volume control and push-to-talk feature is great for my 4S and allows SIRI to hear me crisp and clear for all my commands. =)

3) PRICE!!! At $249.95, I feel these headphones are almost at a steal. Now customization available for the Fanny Wang Headphones (customs.fannywang.com), are you kidding me, why didn't I get these done before. The Monster Beast Studio which is considered in the same category is retailed at $349.95, almost a hundred dollars more!
