To comment on A.J.Bracuti's complaints:
1. This phone operates like a cell phone. You don't have to scroll through the whole "phone book" contact list; just key the first letter of the contact name and it jumps to that alphabetical position, then you may have to scroll from there. But you can minimize that by prefix letters; eg all my take-out restaurants have RST as the first four letters. I like it better than the 9-entry scheme. With appropriate letter prefixes you could emulate a 9-entry list.
2. I too was disappointed that there apparently isn't even a non-standard wall plate with the required mounting-lug spacing available, and in the installation instructions there is no specific mating wall plate identified. (The ATT wall phone this replaces did have two optional spacings: one the standard and the other the same as this GE phone.) There is a simple solution though: Use the upper lug as-is and, instead of using the lower lug, replace the lower screw holding the plate to the box frame with a slightly longer screw with a slightly larger pan head; it's at just the right spacing; if you let it stand out ~1/4", you can clip the phone on and it's snug & securely mounted.

As others have commented, it is plastic & not stainless steel (which would have been really cool). The range, clarity & telephone functions are all fine. The only thing I would change is the handset loudness; I can just barely adjust it as loud as I need it. Given that there are so few true wall-mount phones available, I would buy it again. (Most so-called wall phones, like Panasonic, have adapters that are really just shelves that stick out too far.)

The best piece of flat pack furniture I ever put together. Good instructions are easy to follow. Better than expected quality of materials. Nice solid piece of furniture. Love the beveled glass doors and rich colored panels. Real hinges on doors would be my only suggestion for improvement. Very pleased with this item. 4 1/2 out of 5!

De-clicked apertures means that there are no hard clicks when changing apertures and the aperture can be manually set to a very specific number (like f/1.7, f/2.8). The lens has also been constructed so that it can be easily attached to follow focus systems which are widely used by videographers. Rokinon CV85M-S 85mm t/1.5 Aspherical Lens for Sony Alpha with De-Clicked Aperture and Follow Focus Compatibility Fixed Lens Review

I'm using this lens on a Sony a99 to shoot both stills and video. The lens is manual focus. This means you have to focus it with your hand and watch in the finder until you get it sharp. Really. Tha Sony cameras offer focus peaking which shows you in the finders of the SLT cameras what is in focus by outlining the focused areas in a color. Once you master this technique it's as fast as AF in most situations. This lens has totally manual aperture settings. You turn the aperture ring to change apertures. On the Sony, in auto modes, the camera changes the shutter speed to compensate for changes in aperture so the on screen brightness stays the same. But if you hit the stop down button you see exactly what will be in focus and what won't. I knew about the "restrictions" of this lens going into the purchase. The lens is made for use in video as the aperture ring is clickless so you can change exposures during filming without making noise or excess vibration. Today I shot products with the lens. Here's the good part: The lens is very sharp and images are very well defined. the out of focus areas are just beautiful. The product works exactly as it is supposed to. It feels very solid and seems well built.

The not so good: Trying to find the point of sharp focus while stopped down can be a bit problematic with an electronic viewfinder and a fully manual lens. When I wanted to be certain at f16 I opened the lens up to f4 and fine focused and then stopped down again.

If you must have auto focus and you must have program automation then this lens is so definitely not for you. If you understand the benefits of manually focusing, zone focusing, fine focusing and depth of field control it might be made for you. If you understand the benefit of a de-clicked aperture ring and the above caveats about manual focus and you want a very fast, sharp lens then this is a worthy contender. I like mine on the Sony a99 and I'm using it a lot.

If you are lazy, moving up from a point and shoot, unwilling to learn new stuff. Do not buy this lens. I don't want to read a review from yet another idiot who marks down a perfectly good lens because he doesn't understand the meaning of manual focus......really.

The problem people are having with this scope is simple; the age of the rifle there mounting it to. This scope is designed to replicate a 1860's scope not a modern day rail system scope. it works off of dove tail notches and keys, a 1800 design feature found on common rifle sight mounting. The individuals that had the complains are having to contact a gunsmith because there weapons are to modern for this sight. I had this sight up and ready to go in 45 minutes and was very please with the results.

I have had this product for about 2 weeks now.I have installed it in the master bedroom.It sounds amazing to say the least.The surround sound is noticeably clear.I have paired it with the subwoofer,so really don't know how well its going to work without the subwoofer.Looks very neat with no wires running across the room.I would say this system is worth every penny spent.Take my advice and go with the subwoofer along with this to get the room filling sound you always wanted without running wires all over the room.
