Nice stand but the packaging for shipping is poor. The center of the stand where the audio components would go is pre-assembled in an accordion style fashion. This is bad because the screws on the hinges can not withstand the amount of movement that a package goes through during the transportation process. My stand arrived with all of the hinges torn off. In addition, the styrofoam used to protect the product is poor and flimsy. My unit arrived with multiple scratches and the front piece where the glass doors are was gauged (not repairable). Simply put, the packaging is entirely inadequate. Also, the accordion style set-up is not good for transportation. I was expecting to assemble the entire unit which would have been better. The extra time would have been well worth it considering I had to lose time repackaging and bringing back to a UPS store location. This is not an inexpensive item so I would expect much more on the packaging of this item.
